gold-go-go is taken from a forthcoming collection of performance poems, THIS IS MY ECONOMY: slam poems for quiet people. A psychogeographical and feminist mapping of Hong Kong's Wan Chai district through channels of commerce running through New York and London. These Are Not Maps considers the fragility of a material world in a digital age. Elizabeth-Jane is a poet working between performance, digital writing and the visual arts. She studied English at Oxford, Applied Poetics in New York, Performance Writing at Naropa, Colorado, MA and PhD in Contemporary Poetics at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her work has featured in journals including How2, Jacket, BathHouse Hypermedia, Pores, Veer Books; and in This Actually Happened, Vox Pop, New York, 2005, Bowery Women: Poems, YBK, New York, 2006, Liminal: Spaces between visible and invisible, Evolutionary Girls, 2007.
